We worked with the Houses of Parliament to support a large-scale technology rollout.

In 2015, the Parliamentary Digital Service (PDS) team were planning a national refresh of laptops for all MP’s and the House of Lords. Alongside the hardware rollout was a large and complex Office 365 project.

This was bigger than anything we at Hable had been involved in yet!

We supported the project with dedicated consultancy. We also produced an engaging internal comms campaign which helped to explain some basic concepts of 365.

To improve knowledge and confidence, we then wrote and delivered a bespoke SharePoint training programme for both site admins and end-users. They were gearing up for a large-scale file migration from a traditional server environment, into the cloud. And this was crucial to ensuring they felt ready and comfortable.

All of this was tied together with some inventive ideas to get people across Parliament on board. From new beer mats that we designed for the Commons bar and that time we invented “World OneNote Day.”
