Hable Education Ltd, take the protection of your personal data very seriously and strictly adhere to the rules laid out by data protection laws and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR-EU and GDPR-UK).

Why We Collect Your Personal Information
We collect your personal data for one of the following purposes:
- To manage communications between you and us
- Where we need to perform the contract, we have entered into with you.
- To provide you with information you have requested or which we may feel may be of interest to you.
- To ensure the safe operation of our website and to monitor the performance of our website

- To improve our services and website performance.

We only collect and use personal information about you when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we use it where:
- The data subject (you) has given consent to the processing activity taking place.
- If the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract.
- If the processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject.
What Information We Collect and Where From
We collect personal information from you, for example, if you contact us on our website contact form, request product information, call us or use any of our services. The categories of personal information that we may collect, store and use about you include:
- Contact details and identification information: Name, email address, phone number, job title, and organisation.
- Technical information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and other cookie data (please see the Cookie Policy for further information).
- Marketing preferences: Whether you have opted in to receive communications from us.
If you are a client/customer we may provide webinar services to your employees. We will only process employee names and work email addresses to provide your employees with access to the webinars which are hosted on Microsoft Teams.
We may process client/customer names and images when we record online meetings. We may also process names when using Microsoft Copilot for AI transcriptions with our clients/customers.
We do not collect special category data from clients or customers.
Personal Data we Collect from Third Parties
We may collect your personal information through your company, where this is necessary to set up, manage, or deliver a service or agreement with us
Job Applicants
If you apply for a job role at Hable Education Ltd we may collect the following information under the lawful basis of contractual obligation:
- Name, address, telephone number, email.
- LinkedIn Profile when applicant has applied through this channel
- Education details, previous employment and referees
- Any information you provide to us through your CV
- Reasonable adjustments
Where you provide us with reasonable adjustments, and this contains health data, we will process this special category data through the Article 9(2)(b) Condition: Employment, social security and social protection law and DPA 2018 Sch.1, Pt.1, 1 – Employment, social security and social protection.
We will retain this information for six months.

How Long We Keep Your Data
We pride ourselves on ensuring that your personal data is only retained for the period that we need it for, or in accordance with laws, regulations and professional obligations that we are subject to. All personal information collected has a defined retention period, which is in-line with our retention policy.
For clients/customers, where we have entered a contract with you, we will retain this information for seven years after the contract has ended.
For client/customer employees attending webinars or meetings, your name and work email address will be retained for 60 days as a default but could be retained for up to 5 years if there is a valid business justification.
For clients/customers, where we record online meetings, we will retain your name for 60 days as a default but could be retained for up to 5 years if there is a valid business justification.
For clients/customers, where we use Microsoft Copilot for AI transcription, we will retain this information for 60 days as a default but could be retained for up to 5 years if there is a valid business justification.
Security Of Personal Information
We take the responsibility for protecting your privacy very seriously and we will ensure your data is secured in accordance with our obligations under the Data Protection laws. We have in place technical and organisational measures to ensure personal information is secured and to prevent your personal data from being accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed.
We have in place a robust access control policy which limits access to your personal data to those employees, contractors and other third parties who only have a business need to know. The processing of your personal data will only take place subject to our instruction.
We have policies and procedures to handle any potential data security breaches and data subjects; third parties and any applicable regulators will be notified where we are legally required to do so.
We have ensured that all employees have had information security and data protection training.
Technical Safeguards and Security
We implement technical and organizational measures to secure your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. These measures include:
- Encryption of sensitive data during transmission.
- Secure access controls for all systems handling personal data.
- Regular security assessments and audits of our processes and third-party providers.
Children's Information
We do not knowingly collect information on children. If we have collected personal information on a child, please contact us immediately on info@hable.co.uk, so we can remove this information without any undue delay.
