NYK Group (Nippon Yusen Kaisha) is one of the leading transportation companies in the world. It has been in operation for over 130 years and employs 37,000 people worldwide.  

Hable were delighted to be able to work with NYK in some of their European sites to showcase the variety of tools within Office 365. And to change the way people at NYK feel about the new technology. 

We worked with NYK to create a bespoke brand for their change plan. With slides, posters and other written content built specifically for their company training site. It all helped to prepare staff for change by creating awareness, and a desire to know more.  

Our learning team led face to face group training sessions for employees in London, Germany, Italy and Belgium. We focused on some of the new tools within Office 365; namely OneDrive, Skype for Business, SharePoint and OneNote. To further embed the learning, we provided an at desk service: one-to-one support following training delivery. 

We went on to arrange a series of follow-up training sessions which were delivered online. It allowed us to reach a wider audience whilst keeping costs down for the customer. In delivering this, people at NYK were joining virtual meetings on Skype or Teams for the very first time.
