With the delivery of 900 new Surface devices, it was identified that frontline nursing staff at a leading UK healthcare charity, would greatly benefit from training to boost confidence. And in turn improve productivity and the adoption of Microsoft 365.

There was a reliance on email as the main method of communication and file sharing, often making it difficult to find files and conversations.

We knew Microsoft 365 could help alleviate these challenges. So, this learning programme was crucial.

What Hable did:

We started with a series of discovery meetings with both managers and frontline staff to understand current ways of working and learning requirements.

Following the development of a structured and engaging learning programme, we delivered 30 different webinars to almost 300 members of staff. Topics included SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and OneDrive.

This learning was then supported by our dedicated Workplace Coaches, who were on hand to offer tech tips, answer questions, and provide resources to staff who needed it. It is their job, over the course of the programme, to act as the first line of support for all things Microsoft 365.

Following our learning programme, a huge 23% of frontline nursing staff moved from feeling "fairly confident" or "not confident" to then feeling "confident" in their abilities to use Microsoft 365 technologies in their day to day. What we're most proud of however, is that 24% of staff even said they were so confident about technology, that they could now go on to support their other colleagues.

We really enjoyed delivering this learning programme to help improve confidence, drive user adoption, and boost skills. Allowing staff to focus on delivering their mission.
