We built a bundle of engaging eLearning courses for students at King’s College School, Wimbledon. Improving student digital skills while freeing up crucial time for teachers.
Having previously worked together on a SharePoint project, we were familiar with Kings College School, Wimbledon and their way of working. Continuously looking to innovate, they recently came to us with a new challenge: wanting to invest in developing pupil digital skills, through eLearning.
With the school having multiple entry points, and every school using Microsoft 365 differently, King’s wanted to get students up to speed quickly with ‘their way’ of doing things.
That’s where Hable came in to lend a helping hand. Using our understanding of learning styles and expertise in Microsoft 365, we built 3 courses for King’s students: Communicating at School, Storing Files, and Creating School Work. All using Microsoft 365.
“It was really helpful to be ‘set up for the year’ ready to engage with my academic subjects with more confidence.”

To ensure maximum uptake of the courses, we then helped them build a custom Power Automate flow. Which would automatically check who has and hasn’t completed the courses, saving staff time on having to check manually.
Following the courses being launched across King’s, the initial feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. The main benefit being the huge amount of time saved; where teachers used to have to find time to train students on Microsoft 365, this is now done exclusively through the eLearning.
It also helps get students ready for the workplace. As, although most schools teach computing, they don’t tend to teach foundational digital skills like Microsoft 365. It’s unique. Showing just how committed Kings College School are to developing their students. We are immensely proud to have played a crucial role in getting them ready for life beyond the school classroom.
