#TeamHable Welcomes Victoria O’Higgins
We are incredibly happy to share with you all a new addition to our fab team. Meet Victoria O’Higgins!
Victoria brings with her a background fusing experience in the healthcare industry and the private sector, and is a fully trained teacher to boot. Victoria has shared a few words with us on her journey so far and on her latest adventure – working with Hable.
Let’s meet Victoria in this short interview…
Hi Victoria! Great to have you on board. Can you tell us a little bit about your background, where would we find you before your move to Hable?
I’ve worked in healthcare for ten years now, seven of which I spent at the NHS. My time has seen me working with a variety of different organisations: care homes, gp’s, private healthcare, mental health, community and acute.
My specialism is change and training. Training, as I’m a qualified teacher, and change as my working life has been spent delivering new, technology-based solutions that transform how people carry out their day-to-day activities. In order for this to be successful, changing processes and how people think and feel about the technology is key.
Tell us about your move to Hable. What attracted you to the company?
I met Sean while deploying Office 365 at an organisation, we spent a long time sharing our passion for successful change and user adoption. Our Office 365 project saw us create a network of champions, creating escape rooms and using mixed media to communicate with our staff in a method that would suit them. We engaged everybody from our executive board, to our front-line healthcare staff. We were one of the first trusts in the country to fully deploy Office365 and did a number of speaking events for Microsoft to showcase the success of our roll out, which was largely down to our change management methods which put a focus on the people.
What are your aspirations going into Hable? What impact do you think we can make going forward?
Working for Hable is hugely exciting for me. I’ve worked with Sean and a number of customers so far, the team he and Mark have built is amazing. I’m really looking forward to the coming months and seeing what I can do with my background which fuses experience in healthcare and also the private sector. I’m a creative that is also hugely practical and pragmatic and I’m a people person first and technology geek second, so I think I have really found my place amongst like-minded people at Hable! I’m great at asking questions and providing challenges to those who are putting up barriers to prevent change.
The technology for me is best implemented when the people within an organisation embrace it, and it serves a purpose.
We can’t wait to see what Victoria brings to our team! It’s great to have you onboard.
